So, does anyone else feel the same way I do about Blogger? That it might be going the way of Xanga and LiveJournal? I don't know, it just doesn't seem like there's the community here that there once was. Maybe it's because most of the blogs I follow have become more sporadic in posting, which doesn't encourage me to post more often. I don't really know what to say anymore either. Most of the bitches in my life are gone, or I don't feel comfortable writing about them online anymore. Either way, no one likes a whiner, and that's basically what this blog has turned into.
I'm listening to "Welcome to the Machine" currently, and it's making me wish that there was a bootleg copy of the video that plays in Space at COSI somewhere online, but if there is, I can't find it. Quality stuff, although the cartoons of the astronaut blowing up when his suit depressurizes is disturbing. Equally upsetting is the footage of the Challenger explosion. Have they added in the Columbia news footage? It's been eight years (!) now, I think it should be included if it isn't already. Well, now that I'm rambling about things that are little or no interest to most people in the world, I think I'll get to bed. Peace out!

Jud-a-as
Something awful happened tonight. I had "Judas" stuck in my head. After cleaning my ears (not even a joke, I really did have to clean my ears), I decided to give in and watch the video.
Holy mindfuck.
Lady Gaga portrayed the 12 apostles as a motorcycle gang. Actually, other than that and a slightly confusing and erotic footwashing scene, the video was much better than the song is. I appreciate that the dance moves are fairly simple for the most part. That's going to make parody videos a million times easier and more entertaining to watch!
After watching "Judas" I decided to watch "Born This Way" since I love the song and had never seen the video.

The first three minutes are awful. It reminded me of what Chandler must have suffered through in "The One With the Birthing Video" where he expected to view porn and watching a birthing instead by accident. Once I made it past that part, I liked it more, but if it wasn't for the music that I knew HAD to be coming, I would have turned it off before the first minute was up.
All in all, good work, Lady Gaga. You have successfully made me give a second look at 13 years of religious education and made me terrified to ever birth ANYTHING.
