let's shake things up a bit, shall we?

I have exciting news! First, my parents gave me an iPod stereo for my birthday and I love it! Now I won't have to bear with my laptop's speakers when I listen to my thunderstorm noise at night. Instead, I get the full advantage of the iHome's Reson8 technology! BOOM! Second, I 'discovered' why Google Chrome is amazing, and I now want to spend loads of time online! Even though my internet connection here at home blows goat testicles, the pages load so much faster that it feels like I'm getting more accomplished before I lose my connection!

In celebration, I have started a tumblr page! The address is: (drum roll - no! TAMBOURINE THUMB ROLL please!)

Shocking, it'll be about pop culture-esque findings. Fear not, young Bloggers, for I will not abandon Free of Heinous Bitches. No doubt, there will still be bitches. Pop Goes The Culture will be freer of my personal life details, and FOHB will continue to be my mindless ramblings of a sometimes too-personal nature.

Which reminds me, the other day on Facebook, I saw where someone (anonymous!) had posted that they didn't believe that Martin Luther King Jr. was a hero. Uhhhhh WHAT?

My favorite black man (Bill Cosby, for anyone who's lived under a rock for the last 72 years) is giving you a "Bitch, please" moment. Let's just go ahead and throw 99% of the Catholic saints into that "not a hero category" as well. They only died for what they believed in. I guess some people prefer having the higher drinking fountain.

Anywho, as much as I love the Olympics, I am SO happy that regular TV is coming back this week. In celebration, I am going to attempt to make something ridiculous happen in each of the shows that I watch on a fairly regular basis. They won't actually happen, but I can at least throw the ideas out there, right?

Greek
Since I just watched it 2.5 hours ago, we'll start with ABC Family's longest running series! My thought is that Rusty should knock up Catherine and that Dale should get an STD. Also, Casey should drop out of school RIGHT NOW and run away to live with Cappie at another college's Kappa Tau house.

NCIS
I know, I've done this before. But let's just be RULL SILLY. (I have no idea why I have the urge to write in caps so much) I watched the season 6 DVD commentaries with Michael Weatherly (who is HIL-AR-IOUS, bee tee dubs) and even he acknowledged the neediness of Tony when it comes to Gibbs' approval. In fact, at one point, he went so far as to say that Gibbs should just kiss Tony. Instead, he bitched Tony out. So yes, all you weird slash people, Gibbs and Tony should just stop fighting the feeling and have a little rendezvous. Also, McGee should have amnesia. Nothing against McGee, but I want to see how McBrainiac would fare without his precious knowledge of everything.

16 & Pregnant/Teen Mom
This one isn't a silly thought, but more of a legitimate complaint. I want there to be ONE decent baby daddy on the show. Also, the whole tension between baby momma's parents and the baby daddy is getting old. I want there to be one episode where the teens are prep school, Harvard-Yale types who have financially stable parents who get along with everyone and the guy respects people and is a halfway decent father. Also, the girl ISN'T a cheerleader, and is a decent mother. Just. One. Episode. That's all I ask.

Property Virgins
I know, I know... but I really love HGTV. I want the homebuyers to be in agreement with each other over what they want out of a house. Also, they need to be at least 40 years old. There are late bloomers out there!

The Office
This one's hard because just about everything bizzare has happened on this show, to the point where it's not so funny anymore. Which is why I'm ready for it to be cancelled. Sooo, I'll say that I want there to be an episode that's told entirely from the POV of Creed Bratton.

Mmmm... this thunderstorm noise is getting to me... night all!
